Chesapeake Research Associates, LLC (CRA), located in historic Annapolis, Maryland, was founded in 2002 to provide research and evaluation services to federal
and state governments, non-profit organizations, and businesses both in the US and abroad. Our goal is to provide our clients with answers to the most
challenging public policy questions based on state-of-the art rigorous research methods and designs.
Decision-making, both in the public and private sectors, has seen an increasing dependence on the use of reliable and valid information. But, the
simple provision of information alone is not enough. Consequently, our goal is to provide our clients with the knowledge and understanding that
lie behind the data to give meaning to the information in a way that is clear, policy relevant, and methodologically sound. This requires a
depth of policy and substantive experience combined with the ability to design and conduct scientifically-valid and rigorous research and
